Season 2013/14 has been kick started for Phoenix SC teams with all the teams now gearing up for upcoming season. This season, Phoenix SC will compete with the greatest number of teams to date. In fact, 25 teams will represent Phoenix SC’s colours in their respective National Leagues. The main targets this year are for Phoenix SC’s teams to consolidate and improve their positions last year as all teams compete for Phoenix have been strengthened by new acquisitions and young prospective players. A number of high profile coaches, in several sports, have been also introduced to Phoenix SC ‘s teams and this will help in improving the level of our athletes.
This year will see the introduction of a new sports withing Phoenix SC’s ranks with Waterpolo being included as one of the main sports for Phoenix SC. The other sports will also feature prominently with Basketball now being Phoenix’s major sport followed closely by Handball with Volleyball and Swimming teams growing at a fantastic rate too.
A number of important changes will be launched in the following weeks as Phoenix SC will announce a number of innovations to their respective teams and sports. The coming weeks will also be busy ones for Phoenix SC with several important events including a visit by a top Danish Team, TMS Ringsted, the local Sports Festival Izole Cup and a training camp in September for all the senior teams in Gozo.
